When my design career took off it would have been nice to have had a plan! But my approach has always essentially been “throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks” and what stuck for me wasn’t cute adorable OMGosh so much fun stuff like I discovered over at Snappy Tots, the vision of the amazing designer Heidi Yates! When I considered having her as a featured designer (the decision took about two seconds) I was perusing all her free patterns and fell in love with the cute. Oh the cute. I especially fell in love with penguin in the picture. I think you’ll fall in love with her designs too!! (PS: I think everyone on my gift list this year will be getting those adorable fruit scrubbers!!)

You had a free water bottle carrier pattern last year where is that??
Hi Joy, I’ve been wracking my brain and I just can’t remember ever having that available. I’m so sorry.
You have such fantastic patterns and tips. I’ve learned so much from you.
But I was trying to get the penguin pattern, and when I clicked on the name as instructed I got IZip.
I never heard of that, but clicked it anyway and got nothing.
Please make your page senior friendly, for even those of us who are not computer wizes. Please help!
I too would love to enjoy your patterns, but my computer knowledge is very limited. What happened to just plain download now?
Please help this senior enjoy your patterns too, thank you so very much!
Hi Liz! Thank you for the comment. I’m not sure what to say because when I just clicked on the link it went directly to the pattern. Would you be willing to try it again? Just click on the name “Icicle Ike” and it should take you right to the pattern.
The Whimsical Santa Hat Pattern does not download completely. I get the ‘materials and measurements’ page, but no pattern
That’s odd, sorry about that. Try this link: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bobble-tail-beanie
