Rnd 1: Ch 4 (counts as beginning dc and ch 1), (dc in loop, ch 1) 11 times. Join with a slip st to 3rd chain of beginning ch 4. (12 dc and 12 ch1 spaces)
Rnd 2: Slip st into next space. Ch 5 (counts as beginning dc and ch 2), dc in same space (corner made). * FPdc around next dc in Rnd 1. (2 dc in next ch1 space, FPdc around next dc in Rnd 1.) twice. (Dc, ch2, dc) in next ch1 space.* three times. FPdc around next dc in Rnd 1. (2 dc in next ch1 space, FPdc around next dc in Rnd 1.) twice. Slip st to 3rd ch of beginning ch 5. (36 dc, 4 ch2 space)
Rnd 3: Slip st into space. Ch 3 (dc, ch2, 2 dc) in same space. * Skip next st, FPdc around post of next dc. Dc in next 5 sts, FPdc around post of next dc. (2 dc, ch2, 2 dc) in corner space. * three times. FPdc around post of next dc. Dc in next 5 sts, FPdc around post of next dc. Slip st to top of beginning ch3. (44 dc, 4 ch2 spaces)
Rnd 4: Slip st in next st and into space.
