Special Instructions: All sts are worked in back loops only unless otherwise noted. Double Cluster (dcl): Yo, insert hook in st indicated, yo, pull up loop, yo pull through two loops on hook, yo, insert hook in same st, yo, pull up loop, yo pull through two loops on hook, yo pull through all three loops on hook, Dcl made. Crossed Double Crochet (Xdc): Skip st, dc in next st, dc in skipped st, Xdc made

With CB, ch 5, slip st to first ch to form loop.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, (sc in loop, ch 3) six times. Slip st to first sc. (6 sc and 6 ch 3 spaces)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st and in each ch and st around. Slip st to first sc. (24 sc)

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st. *Ch 5, skip one st, sc in next st* 11 times. Ch5, slip st to first sc. (12sc & 12 ch5 spaces)

Rnd 4: Slip st in next ch st. Ch 1, sc in same ch and in each ch around, skipping the sc in round 3. Slip st to first sc. This round may seem to ruffle a bit but it will flatten out over the next 2 rnds. (70 sc)

Rnds 5 & 6: Ch 1, sc in same st and in each st around. Slip st to first sc. Fasten off. (70 sc)

Rnd 7: With CA, slip st in backloop of any sc. Ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same st. *Dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next 4 sts, slip st loosely in next 2 sts, sc in next 4 sts, hdc in next st, dc in next st, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next st* three times. Dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next 4 sts, slip st loosely in next 2 sts, sc in next 4 sts, hdc in next st, dc in next st, slip st to top of beginning ch 3.

Rnd 8: Slip st in next st, and into corner space. Working in both loops for entire round, Ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same space. * (Ch 2, skip 2 sts, dcl in next st) 5 times. Ch 2 (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in corner space* three times. (Ch 2, skip 2 sts, dcl in next st) 5 times. Ch 2, slip st to top of beginning ch 3. (16 dc, 20 dcl)

Rnd 9: Slip st in next st and into space. Ch 1, 3 sc in same space. Sc in each st and each ch around, working 3 sc in corner spaces. Slip st to first sc. Fasten off. (96 sc)

Rnd 10: With CD join with a slip st in next 2nd sc of any Rnd 9 corner. Ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same st. *Xdc 11 times, Skip one st, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next st.* three times. Xdc 11 times, Skip one st, Slip st to top of beginning ch 3. (44 Xdc, 16 dc)

Rnd 11: Slip st in next st and into space. Ch 1, 3 sc in same space. Sc in each st around, working 3 sc in corner spaces. Slip st to first sc. Fasten off. (117 sc)

Rnd 12: With CE, join with a Slip st in backloop of 2nd sc in any corner. Ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same st. * (Ch 2, skip 2 sts, dcl in next st) 9 times. Ch 2 (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in 2nd sc in corner space* three times. (Ch 2, skip 2 sts, dcl in next st) 9 times. Ch 2, slip st to top of beginning ch 3. (16 dc, 36 dcl)

Rnd 13: Slip st in next st and into corner space. Ch 1, 3 sc in same space. Sc in each st and each ch around, working 3 sc in corner spaces. Slip st to first sc. (144 sc)

Rnd 14: Slip st in next st. Ch 2, 2 hdc in same space. Hdc in each st around, working 3 hdc in each corner space. Slip st to top of beginning ch 2. Fasten off. (152 hdc)
