With CE, ch 5 and slip st in first chain to form loop.

Rnd 1: Ch1, *sc in ring, ch3* 6 times. Slip st in first sc. (6sc, 6 ch3 spaces)

Rnd 2: Ch7, tr in next ch3 space; ch3 *tr in next sc, ch3, tr in next ch3 space, ch3* around. Slip st in 4th ch of beginning ch7. (12 tr & 12 spaces)

Rnd 3: 5sc in each space, slip st in beginning sc. (60 sc)

Rnd 4: Slip st into next sc; ch1 *sc in same st; 3sc in next st; sc in next st; skip 2 sc* around. Slip st to beginning sc. Fasten off. (60 sc) Rnd 5: Go behind Rnd 4 and locate the sets of 2 sc skipped on Rnd 3.

Rnd 5 will be worked in the second sc of each of these. With CD, join with a sc in any 2nd skipped sc from Rnd 3. *Ch5, sc in the next 2nd skipped sc* around. Join with a slip st to the first sc. (12 spaces)

Rnd 6: 6 sc in each ch5 space; slip st in first sc. (72 sc)

Rnd 7: Slip st into next sc; ch1, sc in same space; 2 hdc in next 2 stitches; sc in next stitch, skip 2 sc, *sc in next st, 2 hdc in next 2 stitches; sc in next stitch, skip 2 sc* around. Slip st in first sc. Fasten off. (24 sc & 48 hdc) Rnd 8: Go behind Rnd 7 and locate the sets of 2 sc skipped on Rnd 6.

Rnd 8 will be worked in the second sc of each of these. Join CA with a slip st in any 2nd skipped sc from Rnd 6. Ch3, dc in same space, Ch3, 2 dc in same space. * † (ch4, sc in next 2nd skipped sc) twice †. Ch4, (2 dc, ch3, 2 dc) in next 2nd skipped st * Repeat from * 3 times. Repeat from † to † once. Slip st in 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Rnd 9: Slip st in next st and next ch3 space. Ch1, 3 sc in same space, sc in next 2 stitches; (3 sc in next ch4 space; sc in next sc) across. Sc in next 2 dc, 3 sc in corner space, around. Slip st to first sc.

Rnd 10: Slip st in next st. Ch3, (dc, ch2, 2 dc) in same space. Dc in each stitch around working (2 dc, ch2, 2 dc) in center sc of each corner. Fasten off.

Rnd 11: With CE, join with a sc in any corner space. Ch3, sc in same space. Ch3, skip one stitch, sc in next stitch around working (sc, ch3, sc) in corners. Slip st to first sc.

Rnd 12: 3 sc in each space around. Slip st to first sc. (132 sc)

Rnd 13: Slip st into next sc. Ch1, (sc, hdc, sc) in same st. *Skip 2 sc, (sc, hdc, sc) in next st.* around. Slip st to first sc. Fasten off.

Rnd 14: Go behind Rnd 13 and locate the sets of 2 sc skipped on Rnd 12. Rnd 14 will be worked in the second sc of each of these. Join CD with a slip st into space created by the corner sts of Rnd 12. Ch4, (tr, ch2, 2 tr) in same space. † Ch3, skip one set of sc in Rnd 12, go to the next set and dc in the 2nd skipped sc, *ch3 , dc in 2nd skipped sc* 9 times. Ch3, skip one set of sc in Rnd 12, (2 tr, ch2, 2 tr) in space created by corner sts of Rnd 12. † Repeat from † to † around. Slip st in top ch of beginning ch3. (40 dc, 16 tr)

Rnd 15: Slip st in next st and corner space. Ch1, 3 sc in same space. 1 sc in each stitch and each space around, working 3 sc in each corner. Slip st to first sc. Fasten off.

Rnd 16: With CC, join with a slip st in any corner sc. Ch3, (dc, ch2, 2 dc) in same stitch. Dc in each st around working (2 dc, ch3, 2 dc) in center sc of each corner. Slip st in top ch of beginning ch3. (124 dc)

Rnd 17: Slip st into corner. (Sc, ch2, sc) in corner. Working in back loops only, sc in each st around, working (sc, ch2, sc) in each corner. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
